This is unusual, the two lead actors from the Gerry Anderson series UFO passed away just a couple of days apart. It's a sad week for classic Sc-fi TV fans.<P ID="signature">______________

Re: RIP, Ed Bishop & Michael Billington

Wow! But in a very sad way.

I didn't know either has passed away.

This is a obit on Ed Bishop from the James Bond fansite MI6 (as Bishop appeared in a couple of the Bond movies).

And this is a MI6 story on Micheal Billington, who also appeared in the Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me".

This is an article from the Fanderson website (which covers Gerry Anderson's various TV series) on the deaths of Bishop and Billington, which goes into much more depth on their roles on "UFO".

Additionally, Bishop was the voice of Captain Blue on Anderson's 1967 "supermarionation" series "Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons".
