RIP Ed Koch

That's sad news. I've seen it on the news this morning. I remember Ed Koch, he was the old WEVD at 1050 back around 1999 or 2000. He was on right after Dan Patrick from ESPN, He was also guest appeared on "Saturday Night Live" back around 1983 opposite Eddie Murphy before he became an actor while Ed was the mayor of NYC. What a sad loss to the radio community. RIP :(
 
Former Mayor Ed Koch wasn't afraid to speak his mind. He was very down to earth.

Rest in peace Ed Koch.

He shot himself in the foot after he failed to stand up to the Northern Ireland minister Tom King when he told him that the British soldiers in Ulster was merely a "peacekeeping force." That's what cost him the election to David Dinkins.
