RIP Fred Hendrickson

Longtime OKC radio personality Fred Hendrickson died Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the age of 70 due to complications from COVID-19. He's probably best known for his long tenure at KOMA 92.5 and was the only talent KOMA hired from the old KOQL "Kool 102" after its flip to country in December 1993. In addition to working at KOMA and KOQL, he worked at KATT-FM, 96X, and Classic Rock 96.9. He may have worked at other stations in the market, too. A couple years ago, I tuned into KATT-FM via streaming and was surprised to find him back on-air there.
