RIP Fred Imus

Sad news.........

Fred could be very funny every once in a while, but during the past couple of years, it always seemed he didn't have anything to talk about, that he was just calling in because his talk show host brother wanted him on - then Don would get upset because Fred didn't have anything prepared.
 
Fred used to be very good when on with the I-Man. It could be he has been ill for some time. R.I.P.
 
Fred was a nice guy.
In the early 90s, I called Fred because I wanted to purchase a couple of his Auto Body Express coffee mugs.
I mentioned that I was the Chief Engineer for WQYK-AM ....... The very first affiliate of the Imus show.
Fred sent me the mugs. No charge.

I hope that it was Fred's decision to live in a trailer while his brother lives in a mansion.
