RIP Jeff Kaye

Jeff Kaye will be remembered as a genuinely good man and a great broadcaster in the true sense of the word. He motivated, inspired and mentored so many people, bringing out the best in them. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family. There are many wonderful stories that can and will be told (when the time is right) by people like Berns and others who were front line players in the K-Big Show. RIP, Jeff.

I want a front row seat when that happens...

Today I'm just thankful to have been alive way back when...and doubly thankful that "It's What Between The Music That Counts!" has basically become my employer's (and corporate parent's) mantra. Either I share relevant content in an entertaining way with the listener, or I'm just an iPod with commercials.

This thread disappeared on my browser, too. Even stranger, I could log on, but couldn't post on it, getting a "session timed out" advisory. I thought I'd been TOS'd. But this isn't a time to gripe. I thought about all the interesting things that WKBW did while Jefferson Kaye was Program Director and after reading his obituary, it dawned on me that most of his accomplishments occurred before he was 35. Pure genius.
