RIP John Ed Willoughby...

John Ed and Tommy Charles were truly one of a kind. When they began working together at WSGN in '75, both of them were in their 40's, yet they ruled the roost at what at the time was one of the two leading Top 40 stations in Birmingham. And for over 20 years, they continued to entertain, regardless of the station they were on, or that station's format.

Birmingham has truly lost an icon.
