RIP, John "Prince" Hourani

On Nov 1st John was admitted into the hospital due to reoccurring pneumonia which progressively got worse on Thursday, the 3rd. Then, on Friday the 4th at 5:34 pm, the good Lord took John Home.
Arrangements were made today with Niday Funeral Home located in Houston on Beamer at Scarsdale. Tuesday, Nov 8th, visitation will be from 5 - 8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Niday Funeral Home.
Nov 9th, Wednesday, a Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am at St Luke's Evangelist Catholic Church on Hall Road off Beamer in Houston. Burial to follow at MT. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson.
All are welcome to attend all services for John.

From the Family: John Edward Hourani (aka John Prince), 47, of Houston Texas, after fighting a relentless battle against brain cancer, passed away on November 4, 2011. John was born on December 29,1963 in Detroit Michigan to Edward and Helene Hourani. John was a well known radio DJ and Personality on several stations in the Houston area. He also owned and operated Entertainment Tonight, his event planning business. John lived in the Southbelt area for over 40 years. He received a Soccer Scholarship to Tabor College in Hlllsboro, Kansas where he graduated in 1986 with a degree in Psychology. He was also a Professional Drummer and soon realized his true love was music.

He is survived by his parents, brother Gary, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm November 8th

They had a beautiful funeral for him.
His family is a very loving bunch of people.
Too darn many funerals lately, yall.
 
As someone who knew John, (but not all that well) with a heavy heart, I send my condolences to the family,
 
I'm sorry to hear this. John and I used to have great conversations at 3050 Post Oak.
