RIP: Mike Pulsipher (KCBS)

Joe Salvatore noted on Facebook that former KCBS news anchor Mike Pulsipher has passed away at the age of 61. No other details.

I'm so sorry to hear this news Mike was one of a kind! I've listened to Mike since his early days on Sacramento radio. He will be missed, here's to you Mike! RIP...

Mike Pulsipher was one of my radio idols. Although I was captivated by radio for most of my life, Mike was the one who inspired me to attempt a career in radio back in the early 1980s. I am so very saddened to hear about his passing.

RIP, Mike Pulsipher. You are missed.

Mike had a voice that I will always associate with KCBS. He was a real pro at radio journalism and had a delivery that was always professional and engaging. It is indeed shocking and sad to hear of his passing.
