Former KAAY GM and longtime media consultant Pat Walsh has died at the age of 73. He was instrumental in much of the success during the station's glory days in the 1960's and 1970's...

If memory serves me correctly, he had a lot to do with KZ-95 in the mid-1980's...

He helped me piece a lot of the history of KAAY together, and even went so far as to give me his entire collection of Little Rock airchecks from the late 60's and early 70's in late 2003. One of the last times I talked to him we discussed "whether Corey and Jay were going to make it on Magic 105..." He obviously stayed up on current radio even through his sickness.

He will be missed.

Pat was one of the NICEST people I EVER met in the radio business.
Wow. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
