RIP Paul Newman

One of Cleveland's own has passed at 83. A true screen legend. Hollywood, and the world, is a little less classy without Mr. Newman on this earth.

Newman was born an raised in Shaker Hts. His father owned Newman Sporting Goods. Paul served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific. Attended Ohio U before the war. After the war he graduated from Kenyon College.
 
paul was a consummate professional who never lived out his most famous line--what we have here is a failure to communicate. he always communicated--you didn't have to agree with his politics or enjoy his salad dressing, paul always communicated.
