I don't have any details about his passing, but I think most people in the Dance community knew his name. He was a big part of Energy Radio Arizona 2002-2008. I met him at Club Rio in the 90s when I worked there. He worked with 'The Edge 106.3' at the time and they would do remotes on Thursdays for Alternative night. It was having that connection which made it possible for me to get a job at Energy. He was the 1st live jock on the station (afternoons) and I was quite obsessed about listening. I would call often and hunt for any info regarding DJs needed. Pistol Pete, if it wasn't for you, I may not have had a chance on radio. Thank you for giving me a good word, and helping me write a very fun chapter of my radio days.
For those who didn't have the chance to hear him, he commanded the microphone. He was in your face, and he had all sorts of tricks with sound effects, samples of callers, and very creative ways of entertaining over a music bed or song intro. This is not the best example of his show, but it was his last time on the air on Energy Radio AZ.
