RIP Robin Gibbs

Or be like former wrestler Pat Patterson! His French accent would slip in here and there while commentating on a match: "This superstar really lights up the crowd here at the Boston Gardens!" or stuff like that. :)

Scary that we lose two big disco legends within three days of each other! :(

Hot 93.7 played a few Bee Gees songs during their old School Mix Show at 9AM this morning, though it wasn't for the whole half hour like it was on Friday for Donna Summer. Then this afternoon they mixed in several Bee Gees songs during their Drive at 5 Rush Hour Mix.

I didn't hear it, but good for them!! Pretty far out of their format, and it shows that the management cares what's going on in the world. I'm sure other stations in the market were scurrying to update their voicetracking ::)

Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, and Robin Gibb - when each one of them died HOT 93.7 stepped up to the plate. I think part of the reason is because there is not an Urban AC station in Hartford.

Or in most markets. Funny how hip-hop has grabbed suburban kids but urban AC hasn't done the same with their parents.
