RIP Ron Engleman

Not that anyone gives a hoot, I know 'old man 'word (i'd have preferred a fecal reference) but he was an innovator. And he mattered. Thank you Mr Engleman for inspiring me to pursue the craft.

That he was. Made me cry with laughter at times.
He was also a great reupholsterer! I have an old metal chair from the late 60s' KFRC newsroom that was in tatters. Once, in a trade out arrangement for studio use, Ron fixed that chair up with black leather to replace the disintigrating fabric. It remains as a real collector's item in my humble studio to to this day. If you find yurself in the vicinity, please feel free to drop in and sit on it sometime.
