John Payne deserves as many accolades as possible. Although apparently weather was his avocation, he treated the science with as much fervor as anyone would on the Weather Channel....and then some. Never knew the man, but I heard many nice things about him. He was a treat to watch on the tube. I salute you, sir!!!!
