RIP Tom Walker Tishey

I used to listen to him on Warm 98 years ago.

From John Kiesewetter's Blog

http://cincinnati.com/blogs/tv/2011/11/29/rip-tom-walker-tishey-dj-and-voice-talent/

Sad news for the radio community this morning: Tom Walker Tishey died yesterday. You might not know the name, but you know his voice. He did tons of radio and TV commercial voices and jingles, including being the frustrated radio announcer on Tire Discounter spots who kept getting calls from the Phantom Tire Buyer.

It is really sad that no one else has commented on his death on this board. I recall that he was the voice on the old Snappy Tomato jingles, and the old Tim Timbermann auto dealer commercials, besides being a good radio talent in his time, which is difficult to find in the Cincinnati market nowadays.

Truer words were never spoken - unfortunately most people have short memories...
