Bill "Wallace" Thompson of the children's show, "Wallace and Ladmo" has passed away at the age of 82. Thompson began the show on KPHO-TV in 1954 and stayed with it until its end in 1989.

He was always my favorite and seeing him at a live show at Skagg's made my day as a 10 yo. - no, never got to go to a studio show.

I went with my Brownie troop when I was five, and...I EVEN GOT A LADMO BAG!!! ;-)
