Just a reminder - for anyone who is interested - the 4th Annual RIRHOF Induction Ceremony & Dinner is coming up on May 12th, at the West Valley Inn in West Warwick.

Tickets are only $50 (prices have held firm for 4 straight years), and a table of 10 is $450. You can purchase them online at www.rirhof.org. Don't delay - the cutoff for tickets purchased online is May 1st!

If you'd like more information, visit the website or send an email to [email protected]. The cocktail hour has been lengthened ;) and starts at 5:30 pm, with the dinner and ceremony beginning at 7. A new format this year should help move the evening along! This years' charity recipient is Special Olympics Rhode Island.

Sure hope to see many of you there!

A great night last night, as always!

Steve McDonald did a fantastic job of pitching in as emcee for Frank Coletta, who had a previous engagement. Dinner was great - served on time, which let the presentations begin on time...and everyone stayed to plan! It really moved along, and was alot of fun. Great speeches from Geoff Charles, Florence Markoff and Chuck Wilson, too.

Thanks to Deb Rich and John Colletto for overseeing much of the evening. Congratulations to my fellow classmates of 2011 - and thank you for your support. There's always room for improvement - so get involved! Associate membership is available to anyone for a $25, one-time fee (charitable deduction). The RIRHOF is becoming its own 501c(3) organization, and we will begin raising funds for scholarships to students with an interest in broadcasting within the next year, as well as continue our support for local charities!
