Tuned into SunSports and FSN.Florida around 6 last night to find out that they both had a rerun of "SportsList"....as did all three Fox College Sports channels...seems that the FSN master control and master uplink facilities are in Houston...and had to be evacuated.

The Thursday College football broadcast between Texas A and M and Texas State, rescheduled from Saturday, had a thrown together feel, for the Fox announcers apparantly couldnt get there, so they used the Texas A & M radio feed for the game, including sideline interviews.....

I thought FSN Master Control was in NYC or at least that's what I was told by someone who used to work for FSN Chicago.

FSN Chicago, New England, Florida, Bay Area and Ohio are out of NY. New England, Chicago and Bay Area are all owned by Cablevision/Rainbow, and Florida & Ohio used to be (the were sold to Fox but there's an agreement to keep MC in NY for now).

The national feed for Fox Sports Net (as well as some of the regions) comes through Houston.
Edited by MCarney on 09/23/05 08:07 PM.
