Check out this email I received today from Chuck - Pretty smart move I think
October 28, 2005
For the past two years, the Morning Ritual has made great strides. Hell, the New Times even named us Best Morning Show in the Valley. And now, we're looking to build on what we've started.
Soon, the radio landscape is going to change. People are leaving. Entire shows are leaving. Howard Stern is leaving. Here's the point I'm getting to:
I would imagine you know a person or two who will soon be shopping for a new morning show. Well, I want those friends of yours to give us a chance. I want to personally send them an e-mail asking them to listen for a week. Who knows? They may just start a new Morning Ritual.
But as it turns out, I don't have the contacts you have. So, here's where you can help. Send me the e-mail address of a friend or two you haven't convinced to give the Morning Ritual a try. I'm sure you know someone that listens to Howard in the morning that won't be subscribing to satellite just to listen to his show. I promise not to bother them with anything more than a short, sweet e-mail of my own. If they don't like the show, they don't like the show. But if they end up loving it, imagine how much more you'll have in common.
Thank you very much for helping and for listening to the Edge 103.9. We should get together soon for pancakes and bowling.
