Rizzo's new TV show

He said this morning on KNR that it will be aired Sundays at 11:00 PM on Fox 8. Comedian Mike Polk will join him for a segment each week, and there will be a prepackaged feature with Riz out and about, along with a cooking segment. He said the set could include a bar and a blackjack table. He also was adamant that it won't be a highlight show, it will instead focus on his opinions, especially the Browns.

So what we have is a little sports, a little comedy, a little shooting the breeze, and a little BSing around.

Sounds like a TV version of the Really Big Show, which is pretty much a "man cave" show.

Now if we could only get Polk to be Rizzo's partner on the radio...

Mike Polk is a rising star. He's not only a great comic, but he's also good when he appears on local radio and television. I still remember his spots on WUAB during its first carnation of "The Block". I would rather hear him on KNR instead of Hammer.

If Aaron Goldhammer is on this TV show I am not watching. No interest in watching him. Hopefully Rizzo comes to his senses and tells Aaron stay home.

Nobody is going to watch anyway. If you are sports fan you will be watching the end of Sunday Night Football on NBC and then flipping over to ESPN or the NFL Network.

Mike Polk is going to have a special on FOX 8 this Saturday night (or Sunday morning however you call it) at 12:30AM called "The Mike Polk Jr. Show."

That will be interesting to see before Rizzo's show comes on eventually.

That's a good point, former intern-on Sunday nights, I want to see highlights, I'm not sure I want 10 minutes of Tony Rizzo commentary on the Browns-he over-reacts anyway (remember a few years ago, his "I'm done with the Browns!).

Don't be surprised if Hammer is involved with the new show and makes appearances. Just letting you guys know.
