A show called "J&B On The Rocks" aired on cable access in Bloomington, IN during the mid-90's.

They made a big show of smoking weed during one of their programs. In rushed the police. The smoke still hung in the air, but alas, the hosts had smoked their weed up and there was no evidence to be had.

Made MTV news for about a week.
 
I remember that stunt...even saw it on the interweb awhile back, if I can find a link, i'll post it

Russ Martin and his cronies had BETTER thank their lucky stars that they're working for CBS Radio Dallas/KLLI-FM and NOT for KSST-AM 1230 in Sulphur Springs - rumor has it that the station's owners turn on the public access feed at random times, without awareness from the person on shift at that time; and every cable TV subscriber in Sulphur Springs would be glued to that screen within fifteen minutes time if someone THERE were to smoke pot in THAT studio with that feed running live!
 
They were not smoking real Pot. It was herbs from a head shop.
