ABC’s The Bachelorette and Here Come The Newlyweds strengthened their lock on summer Mondays with an overall 2.5 adults 18-49 demo rating, widening their margin over CBS repeats.

NBC’s detour of Great American Road Trip to Monday headed into a ditch, falling to a series low 0.9 18-49 demo rating*.

Seems even though every single break on her station runs a promo for that show, no one is watching.

So sad... :'(
 
It doesn't help that the show is quite boring.

It's got no keep-you-watching hook like CBS' The Amazing Race, or even the long-canceled Treasure Hunters (which was on NBC years ago).
 
Always looking for the negative where SHE is concerned. It is obvious that you know how to use the search engine on your computer so why don't you go and check out the positive responses that this FAMILY not just HER is getting for representing the south. Whether you are a fan or not, remain positive for the members in the family that are not HER and that are representing and putting the wiregrass on the map. And just so you are aware, the swap from Tuesday night to Monday night did not get but a few days advertisement but we that are pulling for this family will hopefully get the word out before next week. Hopefully we can get that "Road Trip" flat back in working order!

Hardly anyone listens either, from what i here her ratings have been slipping for many books at TVY And USD. Stick a fork in her she is done.
 
Ursula, I'm aware you are a fan of hers, but even if the few hundred listeners she has knew about the move to Monday night, it wouldn't make a difference in the show's ratings. TV ratings are based on millions of viewers, so a few hundred from the Wiregrass are irrelevant.

My point is backed up by "hsawartet's" post...he/she doesn't even know anything about the show.

As far as "representing the Wiregrass," most people I've talked to don't want that representation to made by her.

I will say this, putting the show up against the Bachelorette was not a good move on NBC's part. The Bachelorette has been number one on Monday nights for three years running.
 
I am not going to get in a p*ssing match with any of you on this board and you all have the right to your opinions but isn't this site about radio stations? Do you have so little to do with your time that all you can do is follow her every move and then come back to this board and post your comments about something that does not even pertain to radio and hope some of these other haters take the bait? She has nothing to do with the ratings of that show and undoubtedly 5 million other viewers found something interesting about the show or they would not have watched. I resent your fan comment because she and I moved past that years ago. I am defending a friend and a sister and I along with plenty of others will take her side as long as you continue to make your petty comments that 5 minutes down the road are not going to amount to anything. Get a life and move on to another subject. If you have complaints about the show then go to the proper website because they have a section especially for folks like you.

No significant difference. She can't promote her craft on-air.

get a life and stop trying to tear someone down. "but she does it" is not a defense for childish behavior.

Not many are watching or listening, as I stated before her numbers have been slipping for several books now.
 
Ursula, WE need to get a life? WE do? Seems to me that your posts point out the fact that you need to get your own life rather than trying to live vicariously through AP.

Anyway, I have watched a little of it, about 20 minutes last week (when RAW had a ladies match on) and I must say that AP (or in Ursula spear "HER") is the most savvy of the contestants with the media. Because of HER media back ground knows to give them good, quick bites that are very usable when editing the show.

As far as ratings for the TV show, she's no more than a contestant so I'm not going to bash HER for something she doesn't control. As for radio ratings, that horse hide has been tanned (beaten already to the point of being very soft leather). But the new book should be out in a couple of weeks and we'll all know.

I still think that 937 is going to be flipped to a contemporary format so that TRP can go after WOOF's dollars.

I NEED TO GET A LIFE! You people are the one's that spend your time on this site nit picking everything AMIE and every other person in radio who does not do it the way you would do it! I have a full life 50 miles north of Dothan that involves my children, husband, and job which has nothing to do with radio because it seems like the radio people on this board hide behind fake names and spew alot of unnecessary venom! Undoubtedly you know nothing about friendship because where I come from friends are a part of everyday life and they have their friend's back. I support my friends and if that means I am living my life through Amie because she is part of my life then so be it! And to address your HER comment, I referred to Amie as HER and SHE because the orignal post referred to Amie as such like HER identity was some big secret. Now, I have to get back to my life which by the way does not have Amie in it for the moment.
 
I am so ashamed. I sit here humbled to my core for posting in the same tone and manor which I read earlier. I am so sorry Ursula. As for nit picking, not even close, I think I've been rather constrained in commenting since the move to Kickin'. And specifically on this thread I think I've been even, dare I say it, almost supportive of she and the family. As stated just above, I was responding to you for your post for which I was obviously very wrong to do so ( ::) and have therefore apologized with joy and heartfelt gladness ;D.

Ya gotta get a new shtick for "The Nation" Shady. WWE didn't start til 8 last night and the UFC was something I'd already seen so I watched last night. Ron, I'll eat one of your Pollard Burgers anytime (I was so glad to see him use Italian instead of Ranch). Arron, sorry you lost your little buddy with last night's episode.

This morning Amie was explaining lots of the off camera drama not shown on TV. I certainly agree that children should be off limits from meanness/drama brought on by people. I do smile at the prospect of the fact that she is finding out what it is like to not be able to control the filters of information, frustrating and humbling. As the pop song says, "you never know just how you look through other peoples eyes."
 
I know I had my DVR record last weeks raw since I was gonna be here to see it so I watched it until the live one came on.

Well I have you tubed some of the show it seems ok. course I'm not a big reality fan.

Don't get me wrong unlike some on here I don't have a problem with Amie I think she is doing everything she can to move herself further along career wise.

She was always nice to me when I spent my tour of duty in the grass.

Hope all is good in the wiregrass maybe one day I can get another chance to come do it again. I miss my time at Troy it was fun ;-)
