ROAD TRIP TIME!

"At the end of 181st (going north) is where the new KFXX/KKSN towers are located."

Is that where it is?

..................Well then, what/where was the one they tore down last year? Or am I imagining something else?

Back home now. I noticed a few other FM oddities while on the road...

Stopping at the Battle Ground Rest Area right next to the exit to SR-502 (Exit 11 I think), I noticed KWLZ 96.5, KNLR 97.5 and KMGX 100.7 from Bend, OR area coming in. KJAQ, KING and KLCK from Seattle also noted...

Near Toledo, I heard a weather forecast on "Cherry FM" (100.9, Yakima, about 95 mi?)

The "pipeline" was noticed again in Olympia. KYPL and KDBL were in like locals past exit 111, for about a mile. No sign of KFFM due to the new jesuscaster in Greenwater on 107.3, and no KXDD due to KMTT's xlator on the same frequency (104.1). Also: KPQ and KSWW were duking it out near Maytown, and again at the "pipeline" in Nisqually.

The KKSN towers were on NE 158th & Marine Drive. The KFXX towers are near NE 181st & Marine Drive. KFXX now shares it's towers with KKSN.
