Roadtrip observations: WLUE, WUHU, WTHX

I was able to catch WLUE about 11:40 PM Eastern Time around for spurts of a few minutes each starting around mile marker 6 on I-65 Sunday. The signal was actually pretty clean, although not particularly strong. Once I got north of Bowling Green I wasn't able to keep it.

I was quite surprised to hear Star FM in Elizabehtown, as it has now gone Top 40. Not so much with Bowling Green's WUHU, which sounds much better these days.

I had a similar experience. Last year, around 12:15 AM Eastern Time in the same area, I was able to pick up the 101.7 FM signal from Shelbyville. At the time, it was still Smooth Jazz WJZO-FM. Just like WLUE, the signal was clean for a while until I reached north of Bowling Green.
