Roady 2 Question

Well, thanks to the good comments here a few weeks ago in response to my posts, I purchased a Roady 2 the other day and absolutely LOVE it. I knew "Sunny" and "Watercolors" were good, but wow. LOVE it.

New question. What do I need to make my Roady 2 play in the house now? What kit do I need now? This is the only thing I hate about satellite radio. You need a kit for the kit's kit. LOL

You might be able to get it cheaper online. If not, they might have them in store. They do around here in chicagoland.

Go to Radio Shack

Buy a AC Adaptor (6V 800mA)
It will come with a connector AKA Adaptaplug (Get the "B" Plug)

Its much cheaper in the long run. Better then blowing another 40 bucks on a home kit. Works very well for me.

Then you can listen in the house using either the FM Modulator or your average line in cable. I listen to mine with the line in connected to the computer for most indoor listening. For listening outside of this room and in the car I use the FM Modulator. <P ID="signature">______________

True, but what about the satellite antenna? I pretty much permanently installed it into my car. I guess your idea is only good if I have another of those little antennas?

If you want a second antenna, get the home kit Djdanska mentioned below.

You'd end up paying just as much if you bought the antenna and adapter separately, and the home kit adds in a remote and a stand.
