Rob, Arnie and Dawn off air?

Does anyone know why the Rob, Arnie and Dawn show has been off the air since Monday? They put a statement up that they would be off Monday and Tuesday and it keeps getting updated to say they are still off the air. I still listen online even though I now live in another state.

That is great news. Not that I wish any ill-will for any radio talent. I just don't listen since it's a morning zoo.

I will have to listen in on the way to work tomorrow. All other 98Rock dayparts ROCK!

Well, there is usually a straight guy, a crazy guy, and a laughbox. Or any combination of something like that. Howard Stern is a great example.

I know RA&D have (had) a big following, so I hate to poo-poo their success. Dawn's laugh alone is enough reason for me not to listen.

Just my opinion. It's nothing personal.
 
OK, Morning Zoo= a collection of people with different personalities. I'm no fan of the show in question... their "conflict" always seems very contrived, but that broad "Morning Zoo" label is real tired and is, IMO, misused most of the time.

I agree the term is a broad generalization. I'm no radio expert. If I don't like a show, I don't listen. Probably like the average listener. 98Rock is a preset. It's just not used before 10. AND I forgot to check in this morning. See how we're stuck in our routine? Maybe I'm just getting old. I find myself setting my phone more and more for reminders. :'(

I listen to radio all day long, whether I'm on the road or in the office. I listen to both off-air and streaming.
 
RA&D were back on-the-air this morning. Didn't listen long enough to know if it was live, or a replay.

I didn't listen long enough to find out. I only tuned in to see who was there...then changed channels before my head exploded...scanners style. ;)
