Is Rob Cherry the best 610 WIP can do when someone is on vacation? What a condescending, liberal know-it-all. There is a reason he does not have his own timeslot after years on the station.
Ike Reese by himself would be so much better.

exactly. who knows and who cares. He has been there for years and will never get a show of his own, except for some garbage time assignments. He must have pictures of someone's wife.
 
Yeah he stinks. He's sorta the anti-Howard Eskin when it comes to the eagles too. While Eskin defends them for everything, Rob is on them for everything, and thinks they are the next coming of the walmart corporation.
 
I have to disagree. I think he's good, and in fact, I think he should have gotten the 7-11PM slot. I mean, this guy has been an all-purpose type for WIP. He's worked every shift, and he does updates too. I think part of the reason he hasn't gotten his own weekday shift is because that station has some lousy update announcers. If Charry is out of the update fold, they're even worse. Charry knows his stuff, and he's a Philly guy. Him being liberal should have nothing to do with this conversation. He's filling in for Macnow or Eskin, not Rush Limbaugh. For the person who said he'd prefer Ike Reese alone, in my opinion, Ike is not very good by himself. I think he's good when he's working with someone else, but not by himself.
 
Is it me or is Ike really hard to hear when he is on. Like he needs to turn his mic up or something, he mumbles.

During football season he will be a great additon, but he needs someone with him in there. He cant carry a Phillies conversation and even when he can, I cant respect his opinion on them at all.
