REGENT Classic Rocker WQBK/WQBJ (Q103 WHERE ROCK LIVES)/ALBANY has tapped former crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WKKF (102-3 KISS FM) PD ROB DAWES as its new PD

Thoughts???
 
It seems very odd....From what I understand Rob has nearly 20 years of experience with CHR, but no background in Rock....Over the years he's been at WKKF, WFLY, WQQY (102.3-when it was licensed to Saratoga), and WXXX, Burlington, Vt. (All of these are/were CHR/Top 40)

My only guess was that Rob was let go from CC, and there wasn't any openings at F-L-Y. I think we all would LOVE to see him at F-L-Y.
