Rob Ray the Music Professor

Former 102.9 DRC-FM personality Rob Ray the Music Professor has been doing fill-in work on John Fullers Kool Radio 96.1/990 in Connectucut/m and 104.3/1180 in Westerly.

A couple weeks ago he filled on for Rich Conway during AM drive on Thursday and Friday. Then yesterday April 19th he was filling in for Amy Grey during the 10AM-3PM time slot

It's great hearing Rob Ray on the radio again.
 
I used to look forward to Rob's Christmas Eve shows on DRC-FM. He'd always pull a few surprises out of the holiday music library, including Chris De Burgh's UK hit "A Spaceman Came Travelling" (about the possibility that the Nativity was actually a visit from an extraterrestrial being!) and Beatlesque arrangements of Christmas standards like "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing!" by an American band that called themselves the Fab Four.

Has he ever worked at WJMJ, as so many other DRC-FM alumni have?
 
Rob has been filling in for Rich on Kool & Rich & Rob have been filling in for Picozzi who got injured at at his house.

Picozzi returned to 102.9 the Whale on June 2nd via a set up in his home, so Rich Conway returned to mornings on Kool Radio. Meanwhile it appears Rob Ray has permanently take over the 10AM-3PM Saturday slot from Full Power Radio Boss Amy Grey as he is no longer saying he's filling in for Amy Grey.

P.S. Rob is supposed to be in for Rich on Kool tomorrow June 16th, but right now they're running the backup feed of Kool Radio with the outdated and over modulated imaging.
