I saw someone reference the station that Robert Bass runs on live 365. Can someone please let me know how to listen?

Gordon,

Actually I don’t have that station any more. I got out of that back in the fall of 2003 after moving up to the Music Manager role at KEOM.

Yeah, and it was a great station It was stuff you didn't hear on teresterial radio. Such things as "The Polish Whaling Song festival","The audio from the old Captain and Tenille" variety hour,""The Best of The Archies" etc. He also had investigative reports including the classic " The Recipe File: What are they really cooking'?" It was griping entertainment;).

Ha Ha VERY funny KPLEX ;D

In reality it was a “jukebox” (shocking, I know) station I was primarily using as a means to practice my music programming skills. Sort of a place to make all my major mistakes, if you will. It was wall-to-wall 80’s music for the most part, with hardly any on-air chatter by me (or those damn pesky muskrats).

And by the way KPLEX, the KEOM Recipe file is actually one of the most popular features on the station. ;)

I know it is Robert. So is "Byrd and Sky".KEOM is very well balanced and the best ran high school station in the country. You should be proud.

Hey Robert,

How many people, on average, request recipes via FAX? I'm curious - I've always wanted to give it a try.

By the way, I listen to KEOM quite a bit, probably more than any other Dallas FM music station.

Interesting question, but unfortunately I don't know. I'm not even sure if the system keeps those kinds of stats.
