Roberta Review Week 3

This week when I checked in to hear Roberta the show literally went to the dogs. After a really good ask the gov program Roberta thought that we all care that her dog chewed her husbands boot. The topic was what did your dog chew? She either got e-bay to buy the mentions or got the station to give e-bay a bunch of mentions as she is auctioning the chewed boot on e-bay for a shelter. I would skip this promotion and just have the station write a check to the shelter since it's been done before and is boring radio. Now I know why Roberta is only on Arizona radio for 2 hours on a Saturday night, she's boring.

Seriously DUDE...Get a hobby! If you despise HER and her BRAND of programming WHY do YOU listen? Do you get your rocks off by mocking her on a public forum or do just like seeing posts with your name next them? For Cripes sake turn the dial to the left and nit-pick "Jack" or turn to the right and "Chill" on CD 101.9

God...is this what therapists get paid to do?

NJ101.5 has good traffic reports so I listen for them. Sometimes I catch Roberta and I share my thoughts about the show once a week.

It would seem logical that "mediamommy", "OhYes" and "Cooker1968" is a former employee of the Trenton station. Seems somewhat obsessed. Sad indeed.

Ya know - I wasn't even going to post because I'm so tired of having my opinions dismissed or screamed down just because someone disagrees and finds ot easier to call a poster names instead of posting a cogent rebuttal, but I read this and just couldn't resist.

Why do you find it hard to believe that there's more than one person who doesn't like certain aspects of your station? Why do you have to dismiss them as "former employees" (who obviously are disgruntled)? Do you notice that no one accuses "StarScream", "E Gill", and "GSP" of being the same person? No one accuses you of having an agenda or being current employees. Instead we post our opinions about the topic. Try it - we might take you more seriously then.

You freely admit that you are an employee and I respect that, so it makes sense that you would have an agenda.

OK...Fair Enough! I can honestly say that after this sudden round of observations, that I was perplexed as to why you listened to something you weren't fond of. Gotcha!

Um... if you could show me where I "freely admitted I was an employee", I'll be more than willing to scream it from the top of the mountain.

But sorry to burst your bubble, sunshine - I don't work for New Jersey 101.5.

Sorry, but I could have sworn that in a previous post you used the term "we" or "us" when referring to 101.5 or SOJO or another Millennium station. I don't have the time to go back through the archives and read all your posts to find it. Oh and I don't necessarily believe you work for 101.5, but I wouldn't be surprised if you were on the Millennium payroll. If not, you should be.

One more thing Pookie - can you go back to calling me your "Wildcat"? You insist on calling me by a pet name and "Sunshine" is just a little too (BLEEP) Eye for me.

What the heck?! I can't say (BLEEP) Eye?! It's the name of a TV show for God's sake!

Agreed. Her show was terrible in 1992, and it's not much better today. I find it disappointing that New Jersey 101.5 had to lose Mary Walters to make room for this.

Speaking of, anyone have an e-mail address for Mary?

Did you google Mary? She has a personal webpage that I found by googling her, but I don't remember it off the top of my head.
