Robertson Strikes Again: Europe Committing Racial Suicide

Who knew Pat Robertson would use Jean-Paul Sartre and God to discuss the declining birth rate of Europeans. I only thought the white power movement was worried about the decline of Caucasians.

This follows up on his earlier comment a week ago AGAIN suggesting we take out Hugo Chavez... only now may not be the best time.

Is there any doubt why ABC Family will not be included on family tiers when they carry 700 Club and this nonsense?

In any event I'd like to see all the broadcast stations that show 700 Club drop the program in protest.
______________

well, fear not. If the Christians are upset at the cancellation of the 700 Club, they will simply write the sponsors, executives, etc. It ll be a postal protest. Theyll also do radical things like gather signatures on petitions, call their congressional representatives, etc.

Just be glad the Christians don't protest like the Muslims overseas......

Are we so used to talking heads that when people say things on TV that even most Americans say, we feel outraged. This stuff is not outrageous, I hear the stuff Robertson says on a daily basis. I don't watch his show or any Christian programming, but it's just so strange that people get worked up over what he says, when there's so much worse on TV than a good charitable man with opinions.

What about Freedom of Speech, or does that only apply to programs that openly attack religion? Give me a break I know the guys got a big mouth. But honestly who watches him on TV? Like 10 or 15 little old ladies somewhere in the Bible Belt.

Be patient.

It's just that the Christian extremists haven't yet figured out
how much TV coverage a really violent protest can claim and
how well an organization can cash in through such recognizition
and legitimization.

Be patient just a little longer.....

Freedom of speech only applies to government institutions, not to the private sector.

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

It is a common misconception that "freedom of speech" applies to everything in the U.S.; you fell into that common trap.
______________

[snip...]

Doesn't this belong on the OFF AIR board and NOT on the TV board?

Just a thought :)

Cheers :)
