It seems that R&M are under contract until April of next year. I'm guessing they aren't retiring yet, despite iknowitall's predictions. (BTW, I'm guessing iknowitall is Marissa--I'm sure she and the rest of the R&M staff were let go or reassigned.) Any thoughts on where R&M might end up? Having left Infinity only a few years ago and now about to leave Entercom, Clear Channel is the only major company (with enough money) left. The only fit for them there would be KJR--they have a proven track record at KZOK and KJR is w/o a morning show these days. Where else could they go?

I don't think you want the answer a lot of folks here would have to that! ;)

Hey, I'm just here to comment on the business side of things, not express my personal opinions on who's talented and who's a hack. Robin and Maynard were huge up until they were misplaced on KQBZ. They made good money for KZOK and, I imagine they could do the same for KJR. Classic Rock is a good format for them and they definitely fared better on music stations...

Nor did I. I just could not resist such a perfect setup

Touche. :)

If they are under contract to Entercom could they fit fit into the Morning slot at KBSG aren't they trying to sign or re-sign their morning show?

KISM. It sounds like the best fit for the Robin & Maynard show at this stage in the game if Infinity, Entercom or Clear Channel won't take them.

Besides, Bellingham LOVES Robin & Maynard....

Oh well, I guess every market has its show that bounces to every station possible until they've slept in every bed. With corporate radio, retreads have fewer rocks to lock under, though...

As a blind computer user using a screenreader, I'd like to say the R&M site sucks...Any way to see it without flash? No text, no "news" as the subject eludes to...Just a link to get a flash player, or to enter the site...Then, when I enter, two MacroMedia Flash movies. I understand Flash is supposedly cool, but come on...Keep an HTML version around for the rest of us.

Don't mean to rant, but...

Is just me or is the way they let these guys go was kind of #%@#*..or should I say Lousy!..And where are they? anyway.

Re: Flash Sites

Yeah, you have a right to complain... I'm not blind, but I don't have Flash player installed on my computer anymore for privacy/security reasons.
Flash also sucks if you're on dial-up... its extremely slow to load, and the fact the entier browser has stop down for a few seconds to load the Flash player doesn't help anything either.
