Robin Roth Gone from 91X?

A visit to the 91X website
http://www.91x.com/
shows that longtime 91X deejay Robin Roth (mornings from 10am-3pm)
is missing from the website. Steve West was heard doing Robin's former daytime shift
today including hosting the Resurrection lunch hour. West may likely be retained
for employment by 91X after the transfer of the LMA rights of 91X, as well as Z90 and Magic 92.5, from Clear Channel to Finest City Broadcasting is complete.<P ID="signature">______________

These changes haven't happened that fast since Jacor sold 102.9 and 106.5
and acquired 94.1, 95.7 and 92.5 all in a month's time. Not even Dale Earnhardt Jr. can keep up with the speed of the changes being made.

I'd be shocked if West was no longer employed at 91X (again). He's my generation's version of Brian Beirne (ex-KRTH's Mr. Rock and Roll (tm)) with all of the knowlege of his alternative rock genre of 70s-90s. On a brighter note, I hope Tazy gets a job at 91X.

What about Hilary? She gonna go too, or will they keep her? I'm gonna miss Robin on 91X. I remember she did late nights, and I used to call her up and request songs from her when I could pick up the signal in Lake Arrowhead. Wonder what she'll do now?

Hilary is still up on the website, but no bio of her.

I'm thinking some of the current staff at 91X may be sticking
at Clear Channel.

By default. I doubt ANYONE on that staff would opt to stay with Clear Channel. As a former CCSD "radio guy," I'd be happier unemployed.

Update by Ken Leighton from SD Reader: Roth was fired.
