Robin Sewell 12 News!

Robin Sewell is subbing on 12 News for Kim Covington tonight. I wish Robin could anchor more frequently. I like her style! I rememer her from Seattle in the early 90's.
 
After reading Former's post, turned on 12 News. I'm lol at Robin's bangs that keep covering her left eye and how she shakes her head to shift it, only to have the bangs cover her eye more!
 
Robin also anchored at ABC15 for a while before she went on her Arizona Highways path.

I wonder if she is subbing for Kim helping out a friend or if she is trying to negotiate a new home for Arizona Highways Television. (Seems that ABC15 has bounced her show around quite a bit over the last 6 months. I don't know that KPNX would be a good choice since their weekend afternoons (4-6pm) are taken up with college football, Sunday Night NFL Football and soon the Olympics.

I noticed that too! I just chalked it up to Robin being a bit out of practice for anchoring duties (rather than just hosting AZ Highways). But it was a bit funny!
 
Robin was back for a third Saturday night in a row. I usually don't watch 12News so I don't know if Kim Covington has returned to any other programs. Get Well Kim!

Also, Robin's hair on her left side continues to drift down. Her eyebrow is almost covered and it gets close to her eye. I'm surprised that she hasn't either cut her hair or at least pin it up. I wonder if there's something going on with the left side of her forehead?
 
Based on her very limited Facebook posts, it sounds like Kim Covington was fairly seriously injured and has not yet returned to 12 News :(

A few weeks ago, she mentioned that her doctor was still removing rocks from her face (yikes!). My thoughts and prayers are with Kim right now.

Kim, get well soon!

Guess I was right. Arizona Hiways Television is now on KPNX, Saturday evenings at 6:30pm and Sunday afternoon 4:30pm (opposite Dan Davis and AAA Highroads). The Olympics will screw up the schedule for the next few weeks.
 
We were in AZ last week and I tried to find AZ Highways and couldn't. It seems that they are constantly changing the time.
