I still notice a reverb from time to time, but it does sound as though it was turned down a bit. It's not as dominant as in years past.
Another problem has been the addition of bumper music to when the jock talks after a song, usually before a commercial break. Mike Ivers is still the only one who doesn't follow this practice.
This may not be all that hugh a sin, but that further subtracts from the audio processing. It also adds a "blah" element: WMJI's presentation now wouldn't be that different from what would I'd hear on either WMVX, WMMS or WAKS.
