Rochester radio changes (lots of them)

Lots of changes on various Rochester stations the past couple weeks:

1) WBEE midday host Jesse left the station at the end of August. Weekend host Kelly Hylton has been filling in for her. No word on if Kelly will be on full time, or if WBEE is looking for a new midday host (either local or syndicated programming)

2). WPXY's morning show (Spazzano and Sandy) is moving to WBZA (98.9) starting tomorrow to be the new breakfast buzz. WPXY's night DJ Megan Carter and Corey James will host a new morning show on WPXY called #teamPXY also starting tomorrow.

3) Kimberly and Beck are back. They will be on 95.1 the brew from 2-7pm weeknights. Additionally, they will have a weeknight show on WHAM 1180 from 8-9pm. This is part of Clear channels rebranding of 95.1 the brew to radio 95.1fm featuring Weeze from 5am-noon along with Kimberly and Beck drivetime.

4) 107.3 is changing formats again! Clear channel is giving country music another go at that signal, this time using calling the station 107.3 the bull.

CC has launched the Bull branded country stations in quite a few markets recently. I know Pittsburgh and Boston are two of them.

Call it Bull Country BS Country or whatever, this format will also fail them. The whole purpose of 107.3 seems to be to shave off a few points from competitors doing the same format(Legends, The Bee)....and they fail at even that.

RE: K&B on the Brew and WHAM. Wondering if the long range plan for CC is to develop The Brew(or whatever they will now call it) as Rochester's Talk Radio Station, the next generation. WHAM, like most AM talkers has no chance of ever getting younger listeners...AM will be dead in 10 years(or less).
