Rock 100.5 in HD

Noticed Saturday that WNNX 100.5 has switched its HD signal back on.
It sounds great too. It’s amazing when the HD signal is not sharing any of the bandwidth with other HD sub channels, how much better the radio station sounds.
Too bad the hot garbage playlist is still a hot pile of garbage - even in HD!
Instead of playing Weezer's good songs, this crappy station plays "Beverly Hills," a song made for weak sauced Alt stations and Top 40.
Rock 100.5's listeners also get "treated" to Bon Jovi about 10 times a day.
No library cuts from Tool...only the overplayed "Fear Innoculum." No library cuts from Godsmack (only the crappy singles from their current album). Rage Against the Machine gets played maybe once or twice daily. Instead, bands most ROCK listeners do not want to hear (Twenty One Pilots and Imagine Dragons) get more spins!
Morning show continues to get butchered - ticking off long time listeners of the station. Absolutely NO ONE on social media has complimented the station for inserting music into the morning show; PLENTY of listeners have complained about it. But hey, programmers are always the smartest guy in the room, right? I hope Rock 100.5 enjoys its 1.8 share!!!

When will clueless Troy Hanson and Axel Lowe be sent packing for good? The playlist is such a trainwreck. Bon Jovi or Whitesnake, next to Rage Against the Machine, next to some overplayed recurrent stiff.
Oh, Axel, could you please play the super sappy "Home Sweet Home" by Motley Crue six times a day? Hearing that terrible song 2 to 3x a day simply isn't enough!

Aren't music adds still heavily researched and tested before being added? The last station I worked for had an entire research department that did nothing but test music by phone and auditorium testing.
Why they decided to add more music in the mornings when they had a fairly successful approach for mornings is a mystery. I thought that concept had been proved to be a loser years ago. People want news, traffic, weather, and human conversation in the mornings...right?
