Anyone know what is going on with the show?

They haven't been on since last Wednesday. Jason and Nate were in Chicago for Morning Show Boot Camp, and were supposed to be back on air yesterday morning. Brandi is telling people on twitter that she is no longer with the show.

I see the feed too. What did she do to get in trouble? The show will not be the same without her. Might be a great opportunity to reunite with Eric and her old team over at the Von Haessler Doctrine.

Agreed. She's very good for the show.

Someone asked her if it had to do with Friday and she said yes. Unsure if it was Friday the 13th, or the 6th..

Jason posted "It's so hard to say goodbye" on instagram. Could be them leaving the home studio and going back to Glenridge.

I’ve always wondered if something were to happen to the morning show on Rock 100.5, would they hire Steve and Brandi over at the EVH Doctrine. Would they even be a good fit for that show? Would that be too many people on one show?
 
I doubt EVH would ever leave WSB for Cumulus. IMHO: The 9am to 12 noon slot at WSB is working now. Would Brandi add enough to increase the audience and billings 9am till 12 noon? I doubt it. But I have always wondered why WSB didn’t put EVH in the 12 to 3pm slot with an eye towards syndication? Then I totally see where Brandi would be a good hire at Cox / Apollo.
 
Apparently, Brandi is gone due to her shoplifting incident. They are being mighty tight lipped about what exactly happened in regards to her employment. The station is not good right now and losing Brandi will certainly not help them. In my opinion, she was far too valuable to be lost due to a minor misdemeanor. But what do I know? Playing 3 songs an hour during the morning show seems to be enormously successful.
 
The music during the morning show definitely needs to come to an end.

In recent days, I've noticed some expansion of the playlist. Nice to see. I do wish the station would finally put an end to the daily spins of the two lame Godsmack songs (if Rock 100.5 wants to play that artist, there are far better songs from which to choose off their older albums).

Their underachieving PD still needs to hit the road, in my opinion.
