Rock 100.5

They have updated their sweepers. Instead of “Atlanta’s Rock Station” they are “All Things Rock”. Maybe this isn’t news but noticed it.

Also noticed less 70s classic rock and an increase in 2K’s

The 90s show at lunch is also digging a bit which is nice.

Has this always been the case? Has there been some recent tweaks? I don’t listen much so this may have been a change that took place months ago.

The 90's show at the lunch hour was added close to a year ago, I believe.

The amount of 70s classic rock is about the same it's been since the station's transition to a watered-down Active Rock format in late August or early September 2019.

The positioning statement was changed a few months back, if not more.

Overall, it remains a mediocre station in need of further improvement. Station is trying to be all things to all people, and that approach is not working well.

Sounds like no change at all. Agree it’s a bit boring but if I was to give them any credit, it would be the 90s show at lunch. It’s deeper than your standard Nirvana. Little better mix and a deeper one. 90s focus has really been the biggest success for KPNT in St Louis and is relied on for ratings when active and/or alternative is in a current slump.
