Rock 92 Weirdness

Hey all. I've heard from some callers that there was some weirdness on the air this morning on Rock 92 out of Greensboro, with an Engineer quitting and leaving dead air for 10 minutes around 7:20 this morning. Anyone hear anything about that? Know if there's any truth to it? Or if it's a station prank?

Stunt. It was a Goatboy not going to Cancun stunt. He supposedly was revolting and turned the station off.
 
Don't think it was a stunt. The goatboy was really pissed that he was not going to get to go to Mexico with the rest of the morning show. The station was dead for about 8 or 9 minutes. Don't think they woujld have dead air for that long if it was a stunt.
 
Trust me...it was a stunt. You can be suckered in if you want, but there was fake static after Goatboy "interrupted the show with a tirade speech" then the fake static.
 
I would disagree, it may have been corny but it definitely had people talking and wondering if it was a work or not. They stayed off the air for 10 minutes to make it believeable. Judging by the number of emails the Chris's received I would say it caught people's attention.
