Rock and Whitney on Animal

Listening to Rock Riley and Whitney Johnson doing Big Dog's show it sounded like I was in a bar with them.

They drink beer. Whitney's like a rock and roll nut. When I'm driving home from work I'd rather hear that, than hosts that treat sports like life and death. Rock had Hovan on with the Bucs and that was some good stuff.

I'm not saying replace Deumig. Anyone else?

You know who else did a super fill in? Cigar Dave and Phil Esposito on Monday. They really worked well together and Espo in that setting was excellent.

Cigar Dave did do a good job!

The thing I like about Riley and Whitney's is that they're at games and practices and they know a lot about what's going on. I wish they'd tell us even more behind the scenes stuff.

Rest of this sports market has BOOOOORING Hosts. It seems like they just read out of the paper and on line and don't have any stories.

Duemig is horrible, but these clowns made him look like a superstar. Whitney is a lame excuse for a 'broadcaster'. Sure a lot of people like him as a person, but I can't stand to hear him utter even one word. How did he survive all of the CC cuts? He must be paying them to stay on the air. That's the only logical explanation.

Duemig is horrible,

If you think that, you haven't listened to the local guys in many other markets. Steve is national quality... he turned down ESPN a few years back because he didn't want to move to Bristol, and his weekend football show on Fox should be returning soon.
