Well, its been just over a year since Zeya went bye bye, Cox signed on 93 Rock, and the Buzz, well is still the Buzz.so what does everyone think...as far as 93 Rock, The music sounds better lately, still a little hard for my tastes. The jocks are as dry and bland as can be, sound like a bunch of small market liner card readers, but I guess the PD likes it like that, as thats the way its been since day 1....The buzz has sounded ok lately as well. Opie & Anthony will be a blessing after VanRoth Radio!. love o&a from my time in philly. Music sounds fresh, i heard Bob marley the other day..Sweet! And the jocks, well most have been there for years, so not much has changed..Thoughts?? Comments?? Rock & Alterative looked poised for a big year, Great new songs by RHCP, Pearl Jam & Tool, and big sales...Could rock be on its way back??

I cannot understand the logic behind absolutely personality-deprived jocks on 93 Rock....If anyone can help, please fill me in. Most of the jocks I have known could not be that boring if they tried.

I agree 100%- the Buzz is probably the best-sounding Alternative station I've ever heard, and I've been all around the USA. Opie & Anthony DO sound great, I used to listen when I was up in NYC a few years back. I've even seen some "WOW" signs and stickers driving around West Palm! Hey 103.1 The Buzz, keep up the good work!

Let's start here...93 Rock is a typical Cox station with little competition. Look at 97X in Tampa or Y-101 in Richmond, which just hired a jock from Chicago! If 93 Rock had any competition, management would make that station shine. Otherwise, there's no need to do anything with it.And the Buzz owns...very few stations (short of 96 Wave in Charleston) can match it.Radio-X
