Rock on top?

seems like a trend now. The local rock in San Antoino, Tx for example has knocked a hip hop station out of the top spot. In response, the hip hop station has added an active rock format on a signal they were using to simulcast. Are other rock stations climbing to the top in other cities? Are certain areas w/o an active rock begging for one?

There certainly seems to be a lot of stations flipping to the rock format lately so I'm sure it's getting good ratings. I don't know if certain areas are begging for one but they better beg for a website, stream, and a logo to go with it ASAP. I cannot believe big station markets changes their websites almost instantly and these medium-small market ones don't have an updated one right away and it takes ages for them to get with it. I don't know if they fired their webmaster or what but dang, I'll even do it for them. 97-7 Rock, GET WITH IT!!

Get used to it as more markets switch to PPM... rock stations do VERY well under the new system.
