Rock That Body-BEP

It's a great pop song produced by Funkagenda and Mark Knight with a Guetta nod.

Power 96 Miami is on it.. thats usually the station I play at work. The stream of course cause im in Indianapolis..

It reminds me a little bit too much of last year... the funeral..etc because that's when I used to play and hear it most. However, I still like it and play it (the remixed breakbeat version) and have a quick mix edit I made as well. I wouldn't mind if it were released now. I know quite a few stations are recently but already on it. Hopefully it's fully and successfully released this year so it can wipe out & override whatever memories I have attached to it from last year.

I have a feeling that 2009 is going to go down as a year where a new sound emerged and changed the pop scene. Most of the pop audience is still getting used to the new uptempo sound. I think it's safe to say that most of us are already looking for that next sound and that's why it seems like so far this year things have been rather dull. In reality, this is going to be the year that uptempo music becomes the defacto sound on radio.

Movin 99.7 plays it. In the little time I chose to randomly stream last night, I heard them throw it in. The Club 99.7 player on my √ Nayborhood Facebook Page also shows them playing Kelis - Acapella in the mix with other hits and upcoming releases from David Guetta, LMFAO, Usher, and Wynter Gordon.

UH OH!! SPOKE TOO SOON!
Rock That Body.. Playing right now on KZZP, as I edit this.

It's now an official hit. #2 on the top 4 at 9 on Kiss FM in Phoenix, and I know we are not just being unique or regional when it comes to the popularity level of the song here.
