rock

Who thinks either the palm beach market or the miami market will get an active rock station ever again and on what channel?

Unless the demographics drastically change, the Palm Beach market will come closer to getting an active rocker before Miami. I don't see any meaningful new rock outlet coming to the Miami market anytime in the foreseeable future.

One candidate in Palm Beach County seems to be 92.1. I am guessing that it might bill well, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a flip. On the other hand, CC loves putting AM talkers of FM stations, so I wouldn't be surprised to see WJNO ultimately simulcast on 92.1.

Has anyone noticed that the Gater has moved a bit away from being a strictly Classic Rock station? This has been especially pronounced since the demise of the Buzz.

Speaking of the Gater, it's voiceovers and imaging are terrible. They are more suitable to a station in market 200 rather than a top 50 market station.
