Rock1005.com, Rock100Atlanta.com, others registered

Several domains have been registered, all of which point to the website of AC WRMM Cincinatti. Like with the Q99 related domains, they were registered privately (albeit with a different registrar). Unless they are pulling strings, I think everyone knows what will happen.

In this day and age, you are not going to keep anything a secret. They should just go ahead and reveal their plans. With what has been revealed (via rumors and leaks), the competition would have enough time to make changes and be ready to execute minutes after the flip (Although it can easily backfire).

Being www.rock100atlanta.com leads to another Cumulus station, the writing seems to the on the wall what format the new 100.5 station will be. Could the call letters be WRAG. The website www.wrag.com was recently registered, but isn't up and running yet. Also, do any of the 99X personalities come over to this new station?

So many questions and the days are running out as far as the answers. Also, does 99X transition into Q100 on Friday morning around 5:30AM? I'm setting my alarm earlier that morning if so.

On The Bert Show this morning, I've heard Bert say a couple of times that Q100 will be "exclusively on 99.7" beginning Friday. So from that I surmise that 99X will die just before 5:30am on the 25th, and either the new station at 100.5 will start at that point or at the very least we'll get some sort of stunt.

can they make it a short web address? allthehitsq100.com is too damn long and so would be rock100atlanta.com

Wouldn't Rock 100.5 be a better identifier than Rock 100, especially since radios have digital displays?

99.7 will be known as Q100 (at least for the short term), so the new station will have to be known as Rock 100.5 to prevent confustion.

I see Q100 becoming Q99 or Q99.7 within six months as a result. They are keeping the Q100 name for now to keep the transition as smooth as possible.

I say Q100 is the brand name while 99.7 is the location. They might eventually blend the two as "[email protected] (and 99.7hd-1)"
