Rocket 95.1 and classic rock

Is it just me or does it seem like Rocket 95.1 is playing more classic rock lately? sounding more like 95.1 the Fox to me

I've noticed that, too. I gues they're trying to lure listeners away from TAK. They are a good station they should stay with what they've been doing for the last 5 or so years.

No, it's not just you. I've heard Tears for Fears, Beastie Boys, and The Cure over the past week. Lots of 80's pop and rock in heavy rotation. And they dropped the "90's Nooner" format and play any requests for "The Nooner" instead.

I know they've physically moved buildings, as their previous office is now rubble. But I'm not sure what changes are being made. I agree with the previous poster that they should stick to what they've been doing for the past 5 or 6 years.

I thought that being locally owned, they'd have a better idea of what people want. I don't think they want Kid Rock to Audioslave to Tears for Fears.
