Rockin' Around the Christmas Bee -- Bruce Palmer's Freudian slip

Anybody remember when Cruisin' Bruce did these holiday music specials on Christmas Eve, and then again on Christmas day? First of all, after reading the B101 thread about how they're voicetracked 20 hours a day, yes Cruisin' Bruce was pre-recorded, but there was always a live person in there to give the weather updates between the breaks (at least in the 90s). Anyway, I was listening to 96.1 WSRS/Worcester this afternoon, with Bruce Palmer doing his shift and he announced the Brenda Lee Christmas classic as "Rockin' Around the Christmas Bee," ... TWICE! I chuckled a bit because I know the reason behind the slip, but I'm sure many in Worcester county who don't know about Bruce Palmer's Providence past were giving quizzical looks at their radios when they heard it.

Merry Christmas!
Jacko
