Rod Carr

I just learned of the sudden death of Rod Carr. I don't have any details at the moment. Rod was the Phoenix, NY police Chief. He worked for the Syracuse Police for many years as a spokesman. I personally knew Rod from his WTLB days. What a great voice and newsman. He & I help organized the WTLB reunion a few years back. We have talked on the phone and e-mailed several times since. If anyone has more info please go ahead and post it.

Saddened to hear of this. Rod was the go-to guy for information on the police beat for many years, and I remember working with him on a lot of stories while I was at WHEN in the 70s. IIRC he also worked for Channel 9 back in the 60s as well. Good guy, he'll be missed.
